In Tashkent on October 22, 2024, a meeting was held between the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan K. Sharipov, the Secretary General of the Council of the Central Asian Federation, the President of the Central Asian Association for аccreditation of education, Professor A. Abzhapparov.

At the meeting, issues of decision-making by Central Asian countries in the field of ensuring the quality of higher education were discussed. The parties entered into an important government agreement aimed at creating national accreditation institutions that will comply with the requirements and global standards.

The Minister stressed the importance of the integration of the countries of the region to improve the quality of educational programs and improve international competitiveness. The agreement provides for the development of joint accreditation standards and the exchange of best practices between the countries.
This meeting was another important step towards the creation of a unified educational space in Central Asia, which will contribute not only to improving the quality of education, but also to strengthening the scientific and innovative potential of the region.
