The European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) held a competition to identify a significant contribution to the quality of engineering education and training of engineers among authorized agencies (ENAEE Authorized Agency Award). 21 accreditation agencies from Europe, South and North America, Central and Southeast Asia participated in the competition. The Central Asian Association for Educational Accreditation (CAAAE) from Kazakhstan won the first place in the competition. It is especially important to note that this competition was held for the first time in the history of ENAEE and has no analogues.
It was noted that the CAAAE policy aimed at integrating the Central Asian region with the European Union, active work on the establishment of CAAAE representative offices in Central Asian countries significantly increases the recognition of ENAEE and the quality of education in the region. The CAAAE continues to promote the importance of engineering education by participating in the implementation of European Educational Standards of Education and university accreditation based on them. The CAAAE strives to ensure that education in the Central Asian region meets the highest international standards, and our graduates are in demand on the international labor market.
