HISTORY OF THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CENTRAL ASIAN ASSOCIATION FOR ACCREDITATION OF EDUCATION (CAAAE)

CAAAE was established as a public and professional organization within the framework of the European Union project 530326-TEMPUS-1-2012-1- IT-TEMPUS-SMGR «Quality of engineering education in Central Asia». 4 Central Asian countries and European partners (Italy, Germany, Belgium, Portugal and the United Kingdom). The coordinator was the University of Florence (Professor Claudio Borri), the project participants were 50 universities of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries, such as Zhubanov University (Aktobe), East Kazakhstan State Technical University. Serikbayeva (Oskemen), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Almaty), Karaganda State Technical University (Karaganda), South Kazakhstan State University named after Auezova (Shymkent) and others.

By the decision of the Republican Accreditation Council dated March 6, 2023, CAAAE is included in Register 1 until 2028.

REBRANDING

In 2021, at the suggestion of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, CAAAE expanded its activities in the field of accreditation of educational programs and rebranded.
