International seminar on "Europe – Central Asia: training competitive personnel for the international labor market"

The Central Asian Association for Educational Accreditation (CAAAE) with the active support of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE), the Central Asian Federation for Quality Assurance of Education (CAF), the International Observatory for Academic Ranking (IREG) in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, On February 12, 2026, an international seminar on "Europe – Central Asia: training competitive personnel for the international labor market" was held by Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Education under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent (TUPT).

The seminar was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the leadership of the National Agency for Quality Assurance of Education under the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan, heads of European public and professional organizations ENAEE, IREG, CAF, as well as representatives of more than 50 universities of Uzbekistan.

During the comprehensive discussion of the issues, the Seminar adopted a Resolution defining measures to implement the issues of recognizing the qualifications and training of competitive personnel in Central Asian universities for the international labor market. At the same time, in order to improve the quality of education through international accreditation of educational programs, teacher training, and experience exchange, the CAAAI was instructed to assist universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan in preparing educational programs for international accreditation in accordance with international standards and providing scientific and methodological support.

At the end of the seminar, based on the results of the international accreditation, the CAAAE awarded the engineering educational programs of the Kime International University in Tashkent with certificates confirming their quality compliance with the European Quality Mark EUR-ACE Lable.
